TEXAS FEDERATION OF MUSIC CLUBS - TFMC

Organizational Structure

Understanding the hierarchy of the Federation’s structure can answer a lot of questions about how the National Federation of Music Clubs operates and the role each part of the Federation plays.

  • TFMC — all ages are invited to become active members in one of three membership categories (Junior, Student/Collegiate, Senior).

  1. JUNIOR  — Kindergarten through High School; ages vary for Junior Division awards, scholarships, and programs, see the NFMC Competitions & Awards Chart. Junior memberships may be Individual or Organization (members age 18 or younger). Junior Individual memberships may be classified as Individual or Cradle Roll.

  2. COLLEGIATE —  19 to 26; ages vary for Student/Collegiate awards, scholarships, and programs see the NFMC Competitions & Awards Chart. Collegiate memberships may be Individual or Organization (members between the ages of 19 to 26)

  3. SENIOR  — ages in TFMC clubs range from 19 to 100! Senior memberships may be Individual or Organization (ages 19 or older). Individual memberships may be classified as Individual, Life, Subscriber, Donor, or Patron.

  • TFMC Membership Status - annual membership dues amounts vary according to the membership status which defines the level of desired involvement in NFMC/TFMC programs,  events, and business affairs. Members may change to a higher membership status by paying the higher annual dues amount or, if a current member, by paying the difference in dues amounts.
