TFMC All State Festival
A Festival as Big as Texas!
2020 Online Digital Event
This year, the TFMC All State Festival is partnering with Acceptd to provide an opportunity for TFMC Junior members to achieve an important milestone in their music studies. Junior members look forward to this event every year!
Most of these students have already participated in District/Local TFMC Festivals. They have worked hard to earn the right to compete in the TFMC All State Festival, a prestigious year-end event that allows them to showcase their musical skills by performing the challenging repertoire that they (and their teachers) have spent months learning, practicing, and perfecting.
The transition to an adjudicated, online event is sudden and unexpected, but Acceptd's experience with digital, online arts competitions supports the quick action required to make it possible. Acceptd is a dedicated partner in the TFMC All State Festival's committment to provide a meaningful and successful musical event for Junior members. Both organizations foster the love of music and embrace a shared mission: to encourage artistic growth in young, budding musicians.
Please read the Guidelines carefully. Much of the traditional TFMC Festival Rules & Requirements Information Packet has been incorporated, but there are some significant changes.
This event, sponsored by Texas Federation of Music Clubs, is a competition specifically designed for Texas junior member students who participate in the National Federation of Music Clubs non-competitive Festival Program. Generally, NFMC rules listed in the NFMC Federation Festivals Bulletin apply.
Registration opens on March 22nd and festival entries will be accepted until 10 PM CDT April 5th. No late entries will be accepted for this year's event. Fees must be paid at the time of registration. Teachers may only register students who they personally teach.
Awards and Recognition remain the same. TFMC All State Certificates/Ratings Sheets will be distributed to all participating students. Ribbons or All State Awards will accompany the Certificates/Ratings Sheets. The process for distributing Monetary Awards will be coordinated among the TFMC All State Festival Chair, the teacher, and the parents of the award recipient.
This transition from a physical onsite university venue to a digital online platform is sudden and unexpected. TFMC All State Festival staff and Acceptd's TFMC team will provide significant assistance, additional resources, and helpful tips along the way.
